Frequently asked questions:
My (valid) VAT number is listed as invalid
If your VAT number isn’t accepted, it’s very likely due to the official EU VAT servers for your country being down. Please wait a few minutes and try again.
If you’re still unable to complete your purchase, please contact us
If the steps above don’t solve the issue, please contact us here with details on the libraries you’re interested in.
My download links have expired – what do I do?
The links expire after a certain period to protect the content, but don’t worry – you can get them refreshed anytime. Simply reply to your original order confirmation email, or contact us using the form below (please mention your order number if possible – the one starting with ASFX-xxx -, to speed up processing), and we’ll refresh them for you. If you made your order after November 11th 2021, you should also see a link for a download refresh page in your order email.
I’m experiencing slow or interrupted downloads – what do I do?
Files are hosted on Amazon Cloudfront, with servers distributed all over the world, so downloads should be lightening-fast. If you’re experiencing problems downloading, be sure to a) disable any VPNs and download managers, b) pause any other downloads on your machine, c) ensure you have sufficient space on your hard drive for the download to complete, and d) test your connection speeds (here, for example) to make sure it’s working as intended. If the problems persist, please contact us and we’ll find a solution.
My order is supposed to come with some free sound effects included – where are they?
You’ll find the download links at the bottom of your order email.
I can’t download using the Brave browser – what do I do?
Unfortunately, the Brave browser strips URL info required to start the download process – please try another browser such as Chrome.
A downloaded file won’t open – what do I do?
If you’re having trouble extracting a file, it may have become corrupted during downloading. Please try re-downloading the file to see if that resolves it.
I’ve received a .rar file – how do I extract it?
The vast majority of libraries are delivered as zip files. A very small selection of libraries are delivered as .rar files, and most unpacking tools are able to extract these. However, if you experience trouble extracting them, here are the tools we recommend: For Windows, we recommend using WinRAR. For Mac, we’re hearing good things about Archiver 3 (14 day free trial available) , and for older OSX versions, Keka.

We’re a team who need to use these sounds – what do we do?
If more than one person will be working with these sounds, simply select the number of Sound Designers or Audio Workstations who can access the sounds when you’re in the Cart.
Is there a limit to how many end-users can use my product?
No, a multi-user in this context refers to a user or users who will be working with the sounds, not the number of people who will be using the end-product or project you’re working on.
Is there a multi-user discount?
There is indeed – it’s automatically included when you select your desired number of users.
